Paris here we come...

The kids were excited to be traveling on Qatar Airways and shocked when they learned they would receive multiple meals on board and have 2000 movies at their disposal. A big change from the budget Asian airlines that we usually fly.

30 hours door to door, we all survived thanks to some anti-nausea pills for Sol that we purchased in Doha.

Our apartment in Montmartre is very French chic and sits right under the Sacre-Coeur.

We have hit the ground running, watching the sun come up over Paris from the hill at Sacre-Coeur, walking down through a few arrondissements to the Louvre where we met the Mona Lisa. Flora's heelys were very useful scooting around as Sol took over 30,000 steps on his garmin. After the gallery we had a short break and enjoyed the sunshine in the Tuileries Garden.

We then walked some more along the River Seine past the towering Notre-Dame and then up the beautiful old streets of the Marias eating all sorts of crepes, pain au chocolat, frites and wine. We took the metro home and can't wait for tomorrow's adventure...
