Temple of the tooth

Kandy time

Once in Kandy we restored our karmic energy at the temple of the tooth, a temple housing the sacred relic of Buddha's tooth. This was instantly proven when Zar's lost iPad was returned.

The lake was scenic and the towns pace slow. Egg hopper the favoured dinner for all. 

The kids loved the traditional Sri Lankan dacnce show, circusy flips and glittery costumes ending in a fire walking display. Flora was very excited that she discovered their 'trick' of coating their feet in mud. 

Then the rain came .......

But in the morning the sun was shining and it was time to hit the road again.
